| Moraga Junior Women's Club (MJWC) is a philanthropic and social organization. Each year, club members provide their time and resources to host three large events that are open to the community: an Egg Hunt in March/April, a Garden Tour in May, and a Halloween Carnival in October. The entire proceeds of the Egg Hunt and the Garden Tour are donated to local organizations chosen by the members of the club.
While the club hosts three major fundraising events annually, members also provide support and resources for other programs throughout the year. These include weekly Meals on Wheels deliveries and regular deliveries of comfort pillows to women recovering from breast cancer. Club members put on various drives to provide supplies for local organizations in need, as well. These include basic school and living supplies for the JF Kapnek Trust (a charity founded by a local pediatrician to supply a new school in Zimbabwe); holiday gifts, Father's Day cookies, and cereal for the Bay Area Rescue Mission; and school supplies for Court Appointed Special Advocates.
