Thank you for your interest in Moraga Junior Women’s Club. We’re so happy to have you here!
We are a philanthropic and social club dedicated to improving the lives of women, children, and the elderly in our local community and surrounding areas. MJWC is a part of the California Federation of Women’s Clubs and, nationally, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
In order to be a vital and thriving organization that can make a broad impact in our community, we rely on the dedication and participation of our membership. Active membership in MJWC is a four-year commitment: one year as a New Member and three as an Active Member. Following this time, Members have the option of becoming an Associate Member with full access to our service and social events, without any volunteer obligations. We ask our Members to do the following(which is a subset of all the service events we have, the rest of which are voluntary):
New Members
$45 annual dues
Attend monthly General Meetings (typically the third Monday of the month at 8:00pm)
Serve on a committee for the Spring Egg Hunt, including attending the kick-off meeting and all committee get togethers and work parties
Attend the Spring Egg Hunt, including assisting with set-up and clean-up, as well as working at least one shift during the event.
Active Members
$100 annual dues
Attend the monthly General Meetings
Hold a Service OR Social Job
Attend & assist with the Spring Egg Hunt or any other MJWC sponsored event
